Join Cindy and Dave Taylor for this Sunday morning ramble through Ocala's horse country west and north of Ocala. The gently rolling terrain, totaling 784 feet of climbing, passes by beautiful horse farms with a rest stop in the middle. While there are some miles of moderate traffic, most of the ride is on low or no traffic roads. This event is limited to 16 riders, so sign up early.
In addition to the ride, there are options for breakfast and lunch. They are located in the same shopping plaza as the ride start. Arrive by 8:15 AM for breakfast at Darrell's Diner or 9:15 AM for the ride itself. If you would like to stay for lunch, both Darrell's Diner and the The Horse and Hound restaurantare open. If you are planning on joining us for breakfast, coffee or lunch, please check the activity in the registration process.
Our ride leaves from the Community Bank and Trust parking lot on US 27 at 9:30 AM. This parking lot is in a shopping plaza at the intersection of US 27 and NW 70th Ave (traffic signal). Please park near the bank and not in front of Darrell's Diner or the Horse and Hound restaurant.
