About this event
Join us for the club's inaugural RIDE OF SILENCE. The RofS is a worldwide event that occurs on the third Wednesday of May at 7 pm. The ride follows a 12 mile route at a pace of 12 mph. THE RIDE IS DONE IN SILENCE and is a way of remembering those who were injured or killed in a cycling accident. WE WILL RIDE IN GROUPS OF NO MORE THAN 10 and to enhance safety will have outriders who can verbalize safety situations. The RofS starts at 6:30 PM. Afterwards a social event is planned at Flipper's restaurant. (PLEASE sign up separately so we can tell the restaurant how many to expect).
