SLBC member George Arnold will profile America's all-time, greatest professional bicycle racer during the mid ride break at Royal Park's pavilion. No, America's all-time, greatest bicycle racer was not Lance Armstrong.
February is Black History month and our greatest professional bicycle racer was African American. Today's leaders, Dave and Cindy Taylor, are proud to share this great athlete's last name. There has never been a bicycle racer with Major Taylor's accomplishments.
Our ride is, as always, limited in the number of participants and the presentation is being done outdoors in the park's pavilion. Join us and find out all about Major Taylor, America's greatest bicycle racer.
