The Friday ride is called the "X and Z" ride. "Why" you ask? Because just when we recovered from the last time that ride leader Nat abandoned us, he is doing it again. That means everyone in his group will have to double up on the Xanax and Zoloft to get
through this ride without our beloved leader. I do not expect a large turnout because most will ask why even bother to ride without Nat at the front of the peloton.
If you decide to join us, we will keep it simple because everyone will be in a drug induced zombie like trance as they turn to medication to numb their pain. We will ride the Morse Coast to Coast ride, so we hopefully have a tailwind on the Meggison sprint.
The weather forecast is 78 degrees at the start and 85 degrees at the end of the ride with little chance of rain. Winds are predicted to be out of the south/southeast at 5 to 7 MPH.
In case you forgot the route, (copied and pasted from a previous Nat ride announcement as a tribute to our missing leader)

Remember to hydrate during the ride because crying only increases your chances of dehydration.
The ride ends at the coffee shop. I have a voodoo doll of Nat. We will take turns sticking pins in it as a way to manage the betrayal we feel.
