This ride takes us along many familiar roads. However, McNeill Blvd south of the Central Parkway is now open and that feeds into Long Prairie. That being said, you will have to ride along Central Parkway for 1.5 miles (yes, along with construction trucks and vehicles in transit to the Turnpike.) The route has been configured to get us into the travel lanes with least amount of jockeying with traffic.
Break is at Saluki at mile 24.0
Friday weather is anticipated to be 65-80 degrees, full sun, and wind N-NE at 2 mph.
Because some roads are new, RWGPS maps are not exact in a couple of areas. To compound the issue, Garmin maps may not be up to date either. Your job is to load the route onto your GPS enabled device and make sure you are familiar with it before you leave for the ride start.
