Hearts for our Hospital Big Bike Challenge!

November 7, 2026

About

With an initial fundraising target of $325,000, the Hearts for Our Hospital Big Bike Challenge is the single largest fundraising activity undertaken by our Club! Working in partnership with UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation, our club has an open-ended commitment to the Auxiliary Foundation in achieving this goal. Through the completion of the 10th Annual Hearts for Our Hospital Big Bike Challenge in November 2025, we have raised $425,000, thus surpassing the fundraising goal of $325,000. As the November event grows in popularity, so do the contributions from our sponsors and riders. Congratulations!

The monies raised through this collaborative event are put to incredibly good use, whereby half of the funds raised are used to support the capital acquisition plans of UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital Auxiliary Foundation in their corroboration of UF Health Spanish Plaines Hospital. The other half helps provide scholarships and tuition assistance for area high school students pursuing post-secondary educational opportunities in medical or allied health related fields.
