Withlacoochee Trail Ride

From Friends of the Withlacoochee State Trail

Come out to The Depot in Inverness (across Apopka Ave from the caboose) on Sunday Oct 3, and get a free backpack with snacks and drinks for the trail. Ride, run, or walk the Withlacoochee State Trail as far as you want. We will NOT have any support along the trail - no sag stops or food except in Inverness - but there’s water available at every trailhead, and restaurants near many intersections. Head back to Inverness to enjoy a free hotdog lunch (with chips, cookie, and beverage) and live music in The Depot.
This is a multi-purpose event. We want to THANK the cyclists who have participated in the Annual Withlacoochee Bike Ride for 25 years, and WELCOME new trail users who might not be familiar with this trail even though they live nearby. We’ll have plenty of information about the trail, volunteering, and joining the Friends of the Withlacoochee State Trail. This event is free, but donations will be appreciated, and 100% of donations will be used to support, improve, and enhance the WST.
